Giovanni Nicelli Airport is located in the prestigious setting of Lido of Venice, in the northern part of the island just ten minutes by boat from the city center. The air terminal, an example of perfectly preserved architecture, started in 1930s and solemnly inaugurated on 4 February 1935, is the oldest trading post in Italy. In 2014 the airport was included in the ranking of the ten most beautiful in the world by the BBC edited by Jonathan Glancey. Equipped with elegant interior spaces and large gardens and outdoor terraces, it is the ideal location for meetings and conferences, private dinners and events, exclusive parties, art exhibitions and film shoots. In 1915, with Italy's entry into the war against the Central Empires, the priceless artistic heritage of Venice was exposed to bombing by Austrian aircraft. The danger did not leave the French government indifferent, which proposed sending some fighters to protect the city. The offer was accepted by our staff and on 13 August of the same year, 36 men commanded by pilot captain Michel de Chalonge, left Lyon for the lagoon city who conducted 63 effective actions on strategic objectives. The initial deployment near Mestre proved unsuitable for timely interception of enemy aircraft before their arrival on the lagoon, thus making it necessary to search for a new base. With an original choice, the Navy Command, in charge of the Venetian stronghold, decided to create an airfield from the parade ground of the Fort of S. Nicolò al Lido. During his life in Lidense D'Annunzio also confirmed himself as a creative in the field of military art, contributing in an original and effective way to the daring and insidious guerrilla warfare to be conducted at sea and in the air which Tahon di Revel himself had announced. The presence of D'Annunzio on the Lido field, the current Nicelli, was assiduous and creative. Commander of a Caproni squadron he experimented for the first time in Italy with the use of land torpedo bombers until the needs of the war required the full use of the unit on the land front. The Air Torpedo Squadron, created to emulate the legendary strikes from the air landed by the MAS flotilla, will therefore become a bombing unit, also based at the Lido airport, reinforced with SIA 9B aircraft. In October, Commander D'Annunzio will change her name and motto: he will call her S. Marco and for the motto he will abandon the Latin of "sufficit animus" for the Venetian word of "tu con nu nu con ti".

I am 56 years old and love life ! and am engaged to a wonderful man and we have been together for 9 years. I have 1 son who lives in Houston, Texas with his lovely wife and my 2 beautiful grandchildren. I have 1 sister who is sadly disabled. She has Motor Neuron Disease and is paralysed from the neck down. She has had this debilitating illness since 1998. I care very deeply for her and continue to walk this hard, painful journey with her. I would love to one day open up a strung of Care Homes called Mandy in honour of her. Watching your disabled sister struggle every day has been heart breaking but through this I have learnt the art of caring, giving and kindness. Upington Airport located in The Northern Cape provides domestic flights in South Africa to Cape Town Airport and OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg through Airlink airlines. If you want a feeder that can stay active in harsh conditions and needs minimal maintenance, then the ADSBx feeder image is a good place to start. ADS-B Exchange Setup Scripts: These scripts aid in setting up your current ADS-B receiver to feed ADS-B Exchange. At a minimum, you will need a SDR connected to a Pi running any Raspbian image with dump1090 installed and configured to start at boot. The script method for all feeders that have dump1090 outputting beast data on port 30005. The scripts use a systemd service. ADS-B/1090 Feeder Script: Works on all known images from other flight tracking companies as well as DIY created Pi / Debian linux feeders. ADSBx will not break other images or feeders.

Previously known as Louis Botha Airport (named after the South African statesman), Durban International Airport, was the major airport servicing the area of Durban until 2010. The Durban Airport opened in 1951 and carried the name Louis Botha Airport until 1994 – the year of the first democratic election held in South Africa. This election was won by the ANC and Nelson Mandela was elected the president of South Africa. This brought about many changes including the name Louis Botha Airport. It was known as Durban International Airport from 1994 onwards. The Durban airport saw a large volume of domestic flights but not as many international flights as the runway was too short for larger aircrafts to land. Due to this factor, Durban international Airport lost a lot of international flights. This was one of the major reasons for the change of location and upgrade that occurred in 2010. All operations seized at Durban International Airport and King Shaka International Airport, (located 60km north of Durban) became the primary airport servicing Durban. It was much larger and had a longer runway which could accommodate larger aircraft. Closely located near Durban beaches and a host of hotels in Durban, King Shaka International Airport is positioned ideally to make for a comfortable travel experience.

Air Race E is a revolutionary form of Air Racing as we know it with the first ever all-electric airplane race. The city of Port Elizabeth is served by the Port Elizabeth International Airport in the Eastern Cape. The Port Elizabeth airport was once called the H. F. Verwoerd Airport. This airport is owned and operated by the Airports Company South Africa who also operate other airports around South Africa. In 1917 the first plane flew from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and since then and over the years many flights have gone in and out of the Port Elizabeth Airport. The Port Elizabeth Airport mainly deals with flights that go to and from OR Tambo and Cape Town. The Port Elizabeth Airport is also known as the Ten Minute Airport as it is in the perfect central location. It is called the Ten Minute Airport as it is less than a ten minute drive from most of the major areas within the city. The airport is about two miles south of the city’s central business district which is perfect for those business travellers. The airport in Port Elizabeth actually serves more than 1 million people each year. The Port Elizabeth Airport sits at an elevation of 226 feet above the mean sea level. The airport is equipped with two asphalt paved runways, 13 aircraft parking bays on the apron and the terminal building measures 8700 square metres. In June 2004, the modern terminal upgrade was completed which meant that the airport is able to handle up to 2 million passengers each year. The planning for the 2010 FIFA World Cup saw that runway 08/26 would be extended from 1980 metres to a massive 3000 metres, so that the airport would be able to accommodate the international flights that would be coming in however this planned upgrade to the airport never happened. The Port Elizabeth Airport is also used as an Air Force station and is the home to the C Flight of 15 squadron of the South African Air Force. It is a helicopter unit that has the primary task of maritime and landward search and rescue operations. The airport also has a branch of the South African Air Force Museum. Airlines that operate out of the Port Elizabeth International Airport include Mango, South African Airways, South African Express, Flysafair, Airlink and Comair. These are low cost and full service airlines. The difference between the 2 is that low cost airlines do not offer first class seating and an inflight meal. To get an even cheaper flight, the airline Flysafair can be used which does not include checked luggage in its ticket price. This need only be added if it is really needed. Else, you would score a cheaper flight if you can make do with the 7 kilogram carry-on limit. When it comes to defining and developing electric aircraft, VoltAero’s expertise can be summed up in one statement: “Been there, done that!” The VoltAero team has a combined 80-plus years of expertise in electric aircraft, with the unique experience of developing and flying three e-airplanes since 2011. Its first aircraft was the Electric Cri-Cri, an ultra-lightweight airplane powered by four electric motors. With a propulsive power of 20 kilowatts, this single-seat aircraft provided highly valuable knowledge in areas of battery charging and electric system integration. The next step was E-FAN, which made history in 2015 by becoming the first all-electric commercial aircraft to cross the English Channel. E-FAN increased the propulsive power to 60 kilowatts, and broadened the team’s know-how in power management and battery operation. This led to the Cassio 1 flying testbed, which is validating the powertrain for VoltAero’s production Cassio aircraft – in particular, the company’s proprietary hybrid propulsion module, which combines electric motors and a thermal engine. Cassio 1’s propulsive power of 600 kilowatts represents the rating for VoltAero’s top-of-the range, 10-seat Cassio 600 version. VoltAero CEO and Chief Technology Officer Jean Botti and Technical Director Didier Esteyne were the driving force behind these three pioneering electric aircraft. Botti led the Electric Cri-Cri and E-Fan programs in his role as Airbus’ Chief Technical Officer, while the aircraft were developed with the support of Esteyne and his team at France’s Aéro Composites Saintonge. Building on the VoltAero team’s expertise, the company is ready to usher in a new era of safe, efficient and eco-friendly electric flight. Aerobatic airplanes have come a long way, developing from the early pioneers over the necessities of military flying to the highly specialized airplanes we see at competitions and airshows today. General aviation airplanes have developed towards more speed, more comfort, more range, better avionics, improved safety. We asked ourselves: ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to combine the best of both worlds?’ and went to work. The result is the GB1 GameBird. Founded in 2013 by Steuart Walton and Philipp Steinbach, Game Composites started out with a rare combination of experience, skills, determination and the budget to see the project through. The 4 heads strong Game Composites design team around Philipp initially worked out of an office container at Wickenby Airfield in the UK. Operation in the new facility was started in October 2016, hiring and training production team members and over the course of the next 2 years, working through the Conformity Plan with the FAA MIDO. The first GB1 GameBird manufactured in the Bentonville facility had its maiden flight in November of 2018. It was the first type certified airplane ever produced in Arkansas. GB1 SN0001 received its FAA Standard Airworthiness Certificate in May 2019, shortly after the FAA Production Certificate was issued for Game Composites. In 6 focused years, a small team of dedicated people was able to translate an idea into a beautiful and capable aircraft that enables you to fly without compromise.

Cuneo Airport is easy to reach from Piedmont and Liguria regions due to its very favourable geographic location and for being in the heart of the productive area and touristic region. Surrounded by the crow of the Alps, it's in a very special and beautiful position. Cuneo Levaldigi Airport has its historical roots at the end of Twenties, when in 1929 was born the Airport “Campo d’Aviazione di Fortuna”, with a surface of 75000 m2 and a grass runway. After the war the grounds were managed by the local famers until 1960 when the Aeroclub Provincia Granda got the permission to build the new airport. On October 1962, was born GEAC, the managing company of Cuneo Airport, due to a growing interest to develop the air traffic of the local institutions. The first actions of the new company are linked with a renewal program of expansion of the infrastructure and the runway. Since 1986 the Airport is officially open for the domestic commercial traffic by the Minister and since 1990 for the international traffic. In 1994 due to the upgrade of the fire brigade, aircraft up to 48 m are allowed to land. In 1997 a fire burnt most of the terminal, but in just one month the activity of the airport restarted. In 1998 GEAC spa started the executive project for the new terminal, who got finalized in 2004 with the inauguration of the present new Olimpica Torino – Cuneo Airport.
I was born in Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha), South Africa. I’m an outgoing person who is both introverted and extroverted depending who I’m with. I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people because I believe this is how you learn and grow as a person. I’m forever looking for new adventures or challenges. I’m a go-getter, never afraid to fail because we learn more from our failures and build character from them. I believe one is never too old to learn something new things. “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” doesn’t apply in my life. I enjoy the outdoors especially hiking, which has exposed me to some of the most beautiful hiking trails in South Africa. I also love taking game drives and explore our nature especially the animals in their natural habitats. I haven’t had the opportunity to travel beyond the borders of my country. Hopefully one day I’ll travel the world, meet different people and get to experience diverse cultures and cuisines. I had dreams of becoming a medical doctor but due to financial difficulties I settled for a National Diploma in Biomedical Technology. At least I got to work in the medical environment with doctors and other medical personnel for about 5 years. I realised that working in a laboratory was not suitable for my personality because I love people, I enjoy interacting with different people. I enrolled for a Diploma in Marketing and that led me to the pharmaceutical industry where I combined both my medical background and the marketing qualification. I worked in Sales and Marketing departments. I also had the opportunity to turn my passion for fashion into a business adventure and started my online clothing store which was a very exciting and challenging adventure. I learned a lot about importing and e-commerce. When motherhood happened and I took a break to become a stay home mom. I got involved in fitness and nutrition business. I realised that the entrepreneurship bug has got me and needed to empower myself to avoid mistakes I made in my previous business adventures, that is when I decided to register for a BCom degree in entrepreneurship via Unisa, which what I’m currently busy with. I am also teaching English as a foreign language online on freelance basis. I plan to also learn one or two foreign languages as I plan to travel the world in the not-so-distant future. I’m excited about the future and learning more in this university of life.

I’m a proactive recent college graduate (International certificate in Cyber Defence) from the Institute of Advanced Cyber Defence in Sandton, South Africa. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 10 years of work experience. I had the privilege of working for Absa Bank Limited as a Forex Teller and an International Banking Consultant, where I learned valuable professional skills in foreign exchange, global banking, and branch operations. While working at Absa bank, I was exposed to a culture that had a high demand of customer or client services. I learnt to be a much organised individual and now able to deal with projects at hand and also to work under enormous pressure. I was awarded Teller of the year for two consecutive years and had been an ”A” performer influencing my colleagues to do the same. The role of being second in charge at the Teller department empowered me to lead, supervise and initiate action. I empowered myself by studying and finishing a Certificate in Banking, after which I registered and obtained a Higher Diploma in Banking specialising in Treasury and International Banking. My passion for International Banking and Financial markets led me to register and obtain a certificate for Regulation and Ethics of the SA Financial Markets with the South African Institute of Financial Markets. In 2015 I wrote an article about ” My purpose and Journey” within Barclays Africa and won that competition for a trip to Robben Island to meet the then Barclays Africa CEO Maria Ramos and the late political icon Amhed Kathrada. My broad range of interests brings me into contact with the diversity of people and that talent South Africa and the world offers. I want to promote this talent and creative output especially of local people. I am a hard worker, good organizer, very good with numbers, energetic and responsible individual. I started my schooling with a desire and passion to make an impact to every situation encountered. Education has taught me that world of work does not need greater minds, but the determination and desire to what one does. In both my academic and professional life, I have been praised as a hard-working individual by my lectures and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven teamwork, best customer service and critical thinking skills. I’m a very spiritual person who is passionate about the well being of others. Creating a company to conceive a new helicopter is much more than just a business venture. It demands long term vision with focus on the development of people and skills, and the creation of a technology oriented culture. First flight of the Cabri. A personal project for Bruno Guimbal to demonstrate new designs developed for Eurocopter next generation helicopters. In 2000 Helicopteres Guimbal is founded to design and certify a small helicopter equipped with sophisticated technology from larger helicopter types. In 2005 the Cabri G2 breaks 3 world records in its category. In 2007 Helicopteres Guimbal is awarded Design Organization Approval (DOA) by EASA. The Cabri G2 type certificate is delivered by EASA In 2008 the first Cabri G2 order received. Helicopteres Guimbal is awarded Production Organization Approval (POA) by EASA. Delivery of the Cabri Serial Number 1003 - New factory grand opening. In 2017 delivery of the 200th Cabri G2. In 2018 the first unmanned autonomous flight of VSR 700.
