We are a strategic team of professional pilots, maintenance technicians, and inspectors committed to supporting airplane buyers and owners. We deliver turnkey aircraft acquisition, training, maintenance, and management solutions to our clients worldwide. Every year, we guide hundreds of clients through each phase of ownership to ensure their success and peace of mind.

Created in 2016, Airplane Intel was started by Adam Sipe with help from his late mentor, Don Sebastian. Originally formed as The Prebuy Guys, Adam and Don shared a vision of improving aviation by making ownership more accessible. Using their backgrounds in military, airline, and general aviation maintenance, Adam and Don specialized in aircraft pre-purchase inspections and acquisition consulting. Working out of the living room of Adam’s second-floor, one-bedroom apartment, Adam diligently perfected the business model, systems, and strategies that are in use today.

In 2020, Shane Sandlin joined Airplane Intel as an equity partner and the company’s Vice President. Airplane Intel moved to its permanent base complete with hangar and office facilities at the Ocala International Airport. Today, we have expanded to become a turnkey aircraft ownership firm that goes far beyond the purchase. We help our clients through our holistic approach to aircraft ownership from planning the purchase, managing the entire acquisition process, and handling the pre-purchase inspection. The breadth of our services doesn’t stop there. Through our Aircraft Owner Support program, we can help you after the purchase with aircraft delivery, flight training, aircraft maintenance, and aircraft management. When it’s time to sell, we can even help you with the sale of your aircraft.

Airplane Intel has been innovating the business and general aviation space since its inception.
